Blogoween Day 4: Top 5 Books About Witches

Blogoween is hosted by Clo @ Book Dragons | Banner made by me, a.k.a Ruby, using Canva

Hello my dear book lovers and welcome to our 4th day of Blogoween. In the next few days Kaleena from Reader Voracious is our host and she has some very fun prompts. Today is all about witches, or more exactly, our favorite books about witches.

Cover Reveal: Lost And Found by Lexi Blake

Owen Shaw and his “brothers” lost everything, their entire existence erased. Science had robbed he and all the Lost Boys of their memories and their past, but not their future. Hunted by every intelligence agency in the world, they are focused on two goals: find a cure for what was done to them and ensure that the technology that ruined their lives doesn’t get out into the world. Rebecca Walsh might be the key to achieving both. Owen has been studying her closely, living in her building, and he cannot resolve how such a beautiful, giving woman could have helped design the evil process that destroyed his past.

Dr. Rebecca Walsh has dedicated her life to researching the secrets of the mind. Her atmospheric rise in her field was fueled by the horror of watching her mother’s agonizing journey into madness at the hands of a disease with no cure. She vowed to never rest until she finds it. But obsession takes a heavy toll, and when Owen moves into her building she realizes how much of her life she has missed out on. Owen opens her eyes to a whole new world, filled with joy, laughter, and possibly love.

Owen and Rebecca grow closer, unraveling more about each other and the mysteries surrounding her connection to Hope McDonald. As the sinister forces working against the Lost Boys descend on Toronto, secrets long buried are uncovered that could shatter the bonds holding the Lost Boys together and cost Rebecca her life.

Blogoween Day 2: Favourite Halloween/Fall Colored Covers

Blogoween is hosted by Clo @ Book Dragons | Banner made by me, a.k.a Ruby, using Canva

Today's post is all about out favorite Halloween and Fall Colored Covers. I have a lot of favorite covers. I even have a feature here on the blog where I walk only about covers. Which is why it's super difficult to pick just one favorite cover. Here are a few of the prettiest I own:

Those spines are gorgeous and the covers themselves are even prettier! Also, shout out to bat-shaped fairy lights. Because bats make every picture look better in my opinion.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Authors I'd Love To Meet

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Today's Top Ten Tuesday is all about those authors we want to meet. Let me tell you, I have a ton of them. Since I read both adult and YA literature, I had a really hard time picking just 10 authors. BUT I managed to contain my excitement at the thought of possibly, maybe one day, meeting all of my favorite authors and picked 5 adult authors and 5 YA authors. *pats self on the head*. So without further ado, here are

Blog Tour Book Review: Strong by Kylie Scott

Author: Kylie Scott
Series: Stage Dive #4.5, 1001 Dark Nights #88
Audience: +18
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Evil Eye Concepts, Incorporated
Release Date: September 25th 2018
My Rating: 4 Cups
Source: InkSlinger PR
Blurb (from Goodreads):
From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series…

When the girl of your dreams is kind of a nightmare.

As head of security to Stage Dive, one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Sam Knowles has plenty of experience dealing with trouble. But spoilt brat Martha Nicholson just might be the worst thing he’s ever encountered. The beautiful troublemaker claims to have reformed, but Sam knows better than to think with what’s in his pants. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to make his heart fall into line.

Martha’s had her sights on the seriously built bodyguard for years. Quiet and conservative, he’s not even remotely her type. So why the hell can’t she get him out of her mind? There’s more to her than the Louboutin wearing party-girl of previous years, however. Maybe it’s time to let him in on that fact and deal with this thing between them.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Monthly Wrap-Up: September 2018

September is almost over, and I can't really wrap my brain around that. I didn't even feel September passing. I did, however feel the last few days, because Mother Nature just decided she was done heating up my little corner of the world and temperatures dropped from 86°F (30°C) to 66°F (19°F) in just two days and I basically turned into a popsicle. It's not pretty, people, it is just not pretty. I don't mourn the end of the heat wave, but that is cold way too fast if you ask me.

Blog Tour Book Review: Hot Winter Nights by Jill Shalvis

Author: Jill Shalvis
Series: Heartbreaker Bay #6
Audience: +18
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Avon
Release Date: September 25th 2018
My Rating: 4 Cups

Blurb (from Goodreads):
Who needs mistletoe?

Most people wouldn't think of a bad Santa case as the perfect Christmas gift. Then again, Molly Malone, office manager at Hunt Investigations, isn't most people, and she could really use a distraction from the fantasies she's been having since spending the night with her very secret crush, Lucas Knight. Nothing happened, not that Lucas knows that — but Molly just wants to enjoy being a little naughty for once...

Whiskey and pain meds for almost-healed bullet wounds don't mix. Lucas needs to remember that next time he's shot on the job, which may be sooner rather than later if Molly's brother, Joe, finds out about them. Lucas can't believe he's drawing a blank on his (supposedly) passionate tryst with Molly, who's the hottest, smartest, strongest woman he's ever known. Strong enough to kick his butt if she discovers he's been assigned to babysit her on her first case. And hot enough to melt his cold heart this Christmas.
