Something Old – What is the oldest book on your shelves?
Something New – Your last book/bookish purchased/received
The richest bachelor in England plays matchmaker…for an heiress he wants for himself!
For beautiful, witty Lavinia Gray, there's only one thing worse than having to ask the appalling Parth Sterling to marry her: being turned down by him.
Now the richest bachelor in England, Parth is not about to marry a woman as reckless and fashion-obsessed as Lavinia; he's chosen a far more suitable bride.
But when he learns of Lavinia's desperate circumstances, he offers to find her a husband. Even better, he'll find her a prince.
As usual, there's no problem Parth can't fix. But the more time he spends with the beguiling Lavinia, the more he finds himself wondering…
Why does the woman who's completely wrong feel so right in his arms?
The last paperback book I bought was Born To Be Wilde by Eloisa James.
Something Borrowed – A character you’d borrow for the day
Oh, Sammy Sam, Oh! It's too hard to pick just one character!! I mean it's not if you include my newest TV show obsession, Can Divit, but bookish character? Hmmmm *ponders*. If forced to pick just ONE I'll have to pick Charlotte "Charlie" Taggart from Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries series. I am pretty sure I'm cheating, because I'm also getting Ian along with Charlie, but I don't care. I want those two to move in my living room indefinitely.
Something Blue – A Book with the word “blue” in the title
The sizzling second book in New York Times bestselling author Gena Showalter’s Otherworld Assassin paranormal romance series.Gena Showalter's Black and Blue is one of the many books on my 2020 TBR and I am going to try to get to it as soon as humanly possible. Because who doesn't want alien stories in their life?
He is every woman’s fantasy…
Corbin Blue is a man of many talents. One of the most powerful otherworlders ever born, he is wealthy, a professional football star, and a legend in the bedroom. But only a select few know he is also a black ops agent…and there is no better killer. When he and his crew are attacked and separated, he’s forced to turn to his boss’s daughter for help—a woman with even more secrets than Blue.
She becomes his only obsession…
Evangaline Black has always been wary, guarded. No man has ever breeched her walls. Until Blue. He has never been denied something he wants, and now, he’s decided he wants her. As he sweeps her into his double life of seduction, intrigue, and danger, he helps her see beyond the darkness of her own past. But as an enemy closes in, Blue will have to let Evie go to keep her safe—even though he'd rather die than live without her…
