The main idea behind FF is just to go see a bunch of new blogs you may never have seen before, and follow the ones you like (and they’ll follow you back!) It’s a total win/win, so take a peek around and follow me!
This week’s question is:
What would your prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?
100s of mediocre books. First, because the chances of finding something I'd like is, of course, bigger than rereading the same book over and over. Second, because while I love rereading some of my favorite books once in a while, I feel like I'd lose any enjoyment after a while. Though I admit, after the 10th mediocre book, chances are bigger for me to reread my favorite book at least twice.
What about you?
I'm with you - after book #10 I'd probably start skimming. But I'd still rather 100 mediocre with the chance of finding something I loved.

ReplyDeleteNice blog! I found you via the FF. I picked the old favorite. I've already read far too many mediocre books in my lifetime ;)
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I see what you're saying but I htink I'd go with my fav books.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
@Jac: Exactly! And it's good to read something new, even if it is just mediocre :P
ReplyDelete@Barcklesswagmore: I was tempted to do the same too and choose the fave book, but then I realized it's good to take a risk at least in reading :P
@Alison: I'm also afraid of my fav books, because since starting the blog, that list is getting bigger and bigger. Not that I adore everything I read, but some of the books I did read end up in my "keepers" list :P
Thanks for stopping by, guys!
