Waiting on Wednesday (9)

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

My pick this week:

Photobucket The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead

In the aftermath of a forbidden moment that rocked Sydney to her core, she finds herself struggling to draw the line between her Alchemist teachings and what her heart is urging her to do. Then she meets alluring, rebellious Marcus Finch--a former Alchemist who escaped against all odds, and is now on the run. Marcus wants to teach Sydney the secrets he claims the Alchemists are hiding from her. But as he pushes her to rebel against the people who raised her, Sydney finds that breaking free is harder than she thought. There is an old and mysterious magic rooted deeply within her. And as she searches for an evil magic user targeting powerful young witches, she realizes that her only hope is to embrace her magical blood--or else she might be next.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, the Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive—this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone’s out for blood.

I need this book now *sob*

Anyhow, what book are you eagerly anticipating?

  1. Richelle Mead is always an excellent choice! I feel like such a bad fan, because I haven't gotten the chance to read The Golden Lily, yet, but I know it and The Indigo Spell are going to be amazing :0)

    1. I felt like The Golden Lily was so much better than Bloodlines. I can't exactly say I love them as much as the Vampire Academy series, but they're still good :D

    1. Well, I hope they end up together. I'm hoping there'll be more scenes with Rose and Dimitri though :P

  4. Yet another series that's been on my wishlist f-o-r-e-v-e-r! I LOVE her Georgina Kincaid series but I have yet to give any of her YA books a try.

    1. See, I didn't try her Georgina Kincaid series. Actually, her Vampire Academy is the first one I've read by her. If they're as good as the Vampire Academy though, I have to give her adult series a try. But do read this series. It's so good. And there's a Russian warrior in it! *swoons*
