Sunday Post #5

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! I can't believe January is almost over, guys! It seems unreal, really. Time flies so fast. This week has been a bit quiet on my end. Aside from finally deciding to stick with my diet properly, as well as do some workout, nothing exciting happened. I'm currently taking part in the 24in48 Readathon and I'm having fun.

#24in48 Readathon: My TBR

#24in48 Readathon @ Ruby's Books

Hello everyone! Last year I discovered a bunch of new to me readathons, one of which was the 24in48 readathon. I signed up at the last minute last year and even though I barely got past 7 hours of reading, I had fun doing it. So when I found out that there was going to be another edition in January, I knew I had to sign up.

As we know, I'm a huge mood reader, but since I finally managed to break my reading slump - which hopefully will be the only one I get this year - I have my eye on a few books. Here's my TBR for this weekend:

About ASHES TO INK

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan comes a new story in her Montgomery Ink series…

Back in Denver, Abby lost everything she ever loved, except for her daughter, the one memory she has left of the man she loved and lost. Now, she’s moved next to the Montgomerys in Colorado Springs, leaving her past behind to start her new life.

One step at a time

Ryan is the newest tattoo artist at Montgomery Ink Too and knows the others are curious about his secrets. But he’s not ready to tell them. Not yet. That is…until he meets Abby.

Abby and Ryan thought they had their own paths, ones that had nothing to do with one another. Then…they took a chance.

On each other.

One night at a time.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**
*Disclaimer: I received an eARC of this book from InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my rating or the content of my review in any way.

**Disclaimer: This book contains mature content. As a result, my review may contain references to content intended for mature audiences only.

Every time I step into the world of the Montgomery clan and their friends, I get this happy feeling, almost like being among really close friends, and this book is no different. Although it is a short story, Ashes To Ink packs a punch that I didn't expect.

I adored this story so, so much. You guys know I love me some vampires, and I love what Alexa Riley did with these mythological creatures.

«Sexual nerds. That is what BDSM people are, behind all the pretense...»

From critically-acclaimed creator Stjepan Šejić (Death Vigil, Ravine, Aphrodite IX, Witchblade) comes Sunstone, a love story like no other.

Lisa's tastes were always...unique. Longing to be restrained, without restrain. Lisa always felt like something was missing from her love life─until she met Ally. Ally was implacably ordinary─successful job, nice house, an average childhood─except for her preference for bedroom domination.

Originally posted on DeviantArt, this books collects the first volume of the often erotic, always amusing, and surprisingly heartfelt Sunstone.
