Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl
Hello my dear readers! Finally, my favorite topic. I know, I know, it's not often that book adaptations are just as amazing as the source material, but since we're on a "should be" type of post, we can dream that our favorite books will have 5-star adaptations. Let's dive right in!
Top Ten Books that Should be Adapted into Netflix Shows/Movies
- Masters And Mercenaries by Lexi Blake - Aside from my absolute love for this series, I believe everyone needs to be introduced to Ian Taggart. And the best part is that he needs to be enjoyed throughout the entirety of this series, because his sarcasm is amazing no matter if he's the main character, a secondary character, or even a one-scene per book character.
- Demonica by Larissa Ione - Demons, fallen angels, angels, the four horsemen of the apocalypse. And hellhounds. This is just one of the paranormal series that needs a big readership and I do believe it would do amazing on Netflix as a series.
- From Lukov With Love by Mariana Zapata - I need this book adapted. And made into a series, maybe a short 10 episode series, because the slowburn is the best part about all of Mariana's books. And if adapted, Mariana Zapata must be involved in the entire project, from casting, to script writing, to filming.
- Sinner by Sierra Simone - I think this is by far one of my top 3 erotic romances I've read this year, and I truly think it deserves an adaptation. Everything about this book is awesome, and I think it would do well on screen.
- Nocturne Falls by Kristen Painter - A show about a town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year? YES PLEASE!!
- Whiteout by Adriana Anders - Can two people survive a killer and the harsh weather of Antarctica? Maybe, maybe not, I'll let you guys ind out, but what I can say is this: I would pay serious money to see this on the screen.
- 'Twas the Knife Before Christmas by Jacqueline Frost - I like my Christmas romance movies as much as anyone, but I would love to see a Christmas-themed cozy mystery movie.
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber - I'm not much of a fan of carnival-themed books, so imagine my surprise when I read and ended up loving this book not once, but twice!
- Let's Get Textual by Teagan Hunter - A series of texts to the wrong number, a sarcastic couple, and baby goats. The perfect TV show to binge.
- Seven Days For An Eternity by Marc Levy - Be honest, you were waiting for this book to be here! I will forever wish this book would receive more love, more attention, and why not an adaptation? I think this would make for a great 2-hour movie, and part of me wishes it was in French.
