Wednesday Chatter: Why I Started Using The HTML Editor Instead Of The Text Editor

Wednesday Chatter @ Ruby's Books

Wednesday Chatter is a weekly feature at Ruby's Books where we'll be talking about anything and everything related to books and reading. Click here if you want to see what we talked about in the previous weeks

WARNING: Some bad words might be used in the following post. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Hello my lovely bookish friends! Today's post is going to be just a little bit different than what you guys are used to from me. The idea for today's discussion post came to me while I was writing some other blog posts and I thought it was a great thing to talk about with you guys. Let's get right into it!

«Sexual nerds. That is what BDSM people are, behind all the pretense...»

From critically-acclaimed creator Stjepan Šejić (Death Vigil, Ravine, Aphrodite IX, Witchblade) comes Sunstone, a love story like no other.

Lisa's tastes were always...unique. Longing to be restrained, without restrain. Lisa always felt like something was missing from her love life─until she met Ally. Ally was implacably ordinary─successful job, nice house, an average childhood─except for her preference for bedroom domination.

Originally posted on DeviantArt, this books collects the first volume of the often erotic, always amusing, and surprisingly heartfelt Sunstone.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read In 2018 But Didn’t Get To

Top Ten Tuesday
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

Today's Top Ten Tuesday is about the books we wanted to read in 2018 but didn't get to. This is not such a strange thing to me. I'm notorious for making lists of monthly TBRs and not following through. That's not to say I completely disregard the list, I actually did quite well during 2018's ARC August, by reading 3 books off of my initial list. 3 books might not sound like a big deal to you guys, but it was to me. I usually have a hard time reading books off a list because, as a mood reader, by the time I start crossing books off of that list, I'm no longer in the mood for them.

But let's not drag this further shall we? Let's start!

Down The TBR Hole #10

Hello dear book lovers and welcome to another post in the Down The TBR Hole feature hosted by the awesome Lia.

So as I promised last week I did some off-screen TBR cleaning, with books I either knew I wasn't going to ever pick up to read or sequels of books I haven't yet read, because if I end up reading the first book and I enjoy it, chances are high I'll read the sequels as well, so no harm done there. Because of that, I'm starting today's cleaning with an amazing 2849, which is the lowest I've ever seen that number. I'm proud of getting there, which is why I'm going to look at 20 books today. Let's start!

Sunday Post #4

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Hey guys! The flu and I are no longer together, and that makes me very, very happy. So this week I was able to focus a little bit more on the blog and on being generally more active, both online with other blogs, and in my day-to-day life. I also started learning HTML and CSS on a whim mostly, and so far so good. I didn't read as much as I wanted to, BUT since this week I'm being a bit more organized and I have posts scheduled in advance - pats self on the back - I can focus more on reading.

Audiobook Review: Bombshell by Jen Frederick

Bombshell by Jen FrederickAuthor: Jen Frederick
Series: N/A
Audience: +18
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Self-Published
Release Date: December 31st 2018
My Rating: 3.5 Cups

Blurb (from Goodreads):
My brain exploded at the supermarket. One minute I was arguing with my three-month-old about how many grapes she could stick in her tiny mouth and the next minute I was staring at the face of the father of my child.

The guy ghosted me after I told him I was pregnant. I sent him texts, called him and even posted a certified letter but received zero response. While he was down for the baby-making activities, he had zero desire to accept the consequences.

So I did what any other like-minded woman would’ve done in my position. I reached into my cart and started hurling things at him.

To my surprise, he not only paid for the damage but followed me home. Now, he’s telling me he never got my messages or my letter and that he’s ready to be a father.

He’s patching drywall, doing the laundry, and carrying the trash to the curb, and I’m remembering what it was like when he was loving me every night. A few heated stares and a few brushes of his hand against mine and my long-dormant female parts are roaring to life. Everyone’s going to think I’m a few French fries short of a Happy Meal if I let him back into my life, but my heart can’t keep asking what if…
